2 week Subject Knowledge Enhancement Course (1 unit)

This is a short intensive mathematics Subject Knowledge Enhancement course for those about to embark on either a PGCE or a GTP programme starting in September 2012. It may also be suitable for those already teaching related subjects. This 2 week course, will take place in July 2012. It is available to those whose ITT providers have judged that their mathematical knowledge needs refreshing to enable effective teaching at Key Stage 3 and 4. The course will aim to cover the main content areas of these Key Stages, with the intention of developing participants’ confidence and knowledge so that they will be able to teach topics up to and including GCSE A* and possibly beyond.
