Who are the workshops suitable for?

A: These workshops are aimed at individuals who want to expand their knowledge of managing the business aspects of the school such as resources, funding, risk management and school buildings/facilities. They are intended as an addition to the CSBM, DSBM and ADSBM focussing on specific aspects of the role of SBM. Thereby the focus is to enable SBMs to respond to their development needs in a much shorter time frame. The workshops will also be of potential interest and value to other senior school leaders and school governors as well as those who are considering a career change.

Where are the workshops being held?

A: The workshops will be held in four regions:

  • North East
  • Yorkshire and the Humber
  • East Midlands
  • East of England.

Exact venues in each region will be determined demographically.

How long are the workshops?

A: Each workshop lasts for one day (six hours) apart from ‘How to get the most out of your SBM’ (half-day).

How much do the workshops cost?

A: Full-day workshops cost £165 (plus VAT); half-day workshops cost £82.50 (plus VAT). There is also a discount for bookings of five or more delegates.

How do I apply?

A: Simply download the booking form in either word or pdf and complete the relevant sections. You can pay by cheque or BACS in which case you can complete the whole process electronically.
