City & Guilds was founded in 1878 to establish a national system of technical education.  Today, City & Guilds is the biggest name in UK vocational education, with 2 million learners working towards one of 500 qualifications in over 28 industries every year.

Level 3 Award in Preparing to Teach in the Lifelong Learning Sector (PTLLS) (12 credits)

The PTLLS Award is for new entrants to the Lifelong Learning Sector.  There are no academic prerequisites and learners do not need prior teaching experience, although it is expected that learners will have Level 2 literacy skills and be familiar with the subject they wish to teach.
