Our Experience Is Our Track Record
Our Directors, Heads of Service and Senior Professional Staff have many years experience in the education profession either as teachers, headteachers, Local Authority Officers or Advisers, so have a complete understanding of schools' needs and budgets.
- A network of 50 Consultants based in the East Midlands and North of England supplements our experienced Head Office team located in Grantham.
Government Contracts
- TDA Accredited Provider for the Graduate Teacher Programme (GTP). Our allocation for 2008/2009 is 119 places. The partnership includes 8 Local Authorities, 2 school consortia and the University of Hull.
- CWDC approved provider of Training and Assessment for Early Years Professional Status (EYPS) in the East Midlands and the Yorkshire and Humber Regions.
- TDA Regional Provider of Assessment (in partnership with the University of Northampton) for Higher Level Teaching Assistant Status in the East Midlands, and approved provider of Preparation and Training.
- TDA Provider (2008 to 2011) for the Student Associate Scheme across the East Midlands, East Yorkshire and Tees Valley. New contract issued for 180 places September 2008 to August 2009.
- Highly successful Return to Teaching Courses (TDA funded contract 2006 to 2009) run in partnership with Bishop Grosseteste University College, Lincoln (60 courses and over 900 teachers re-trained to date).
- Extensive TDA funded Teaching Taster Course programme (15 courses planned to run between June 2008 and March 2009).
- TDA contract to provide Subject Knowledge Booster Courses for ITT trainees
Local Authority and School Consultancy
- Bespoke Training and Educational Consultancy Services meeting the needs of individual schools and Local Authorities.
- Consultancy for Halton Local Authority for reorganisation of the School Improvement Service.
- Management of the Advanced Skills Teacher Programme for the East Riding of Yorkshire Local Authority (2004 – 2008).
Training, Courses and Supply Teaching Services
- Provision of Courses for CfBT Lincolnshire School Improvement Service for Teachers and Teaching Assistants.
- Partnership Agreements with Lincolnshire, North Lincolnshire, NE Lincolnshire, East Riding of Yorkshire, North Yorkshire, Nottinghamshire, Sheffield, Barnsley, Hartlepool and City of York Local Authorities.
- Partners in the Crown Hills Community College, Leicester Training Schools Consortium.
- Preferred Supplier to the Career Transition Partnership supporting resettlement of service personnel into new careers in teaching and early years.
